During continual use, it will rub together causing friction, which causes strand wear and heat, which then causes rust and oxidation. Crosby’s Vitalife is a wire rope specific blend that performs as more than just a simple lubricant. It provides complete and total coverage to all parts of the wire rope including, the all-important core, the lifeline of the rope.
Unlike oil or grease, Vitalife is non-tacky and will not attract dust.
