Grundens bibs, by the job
Grundens has made gear for commercial fishermen since 1926. Their bibs split by how hard you work them.
- Commercial PVC: Herkules 16, Neptune, Neptune Thermo, Petrus 116, Clipper 116 and the Sternman Armored. Heavy PVC with welded seams that takes fish slime, hooks and a hose-down.
- Sport and charter: Tourney, Weather Watch, Transmit X and the Charter Gore-Tex. Lighter, breathable fabrics for long days on a sportfisher or a charter deck.
- Women's fit: Neptune and Petrus in women's sizing.
Sea Gear Tip: Rinse PVC with fresh water after every trip. Salt and fish oil left to dry stiffen the fabric and crack it at the knees.
