Starke Teak Clean

Starke Teak Clean is a next-level cleaner and brightener that is gentle on caulk seams but tough on stains. This 2-part solution is perfect for restoring grey teak that has lost its luster.

Preparation and Application:

1. Prepping the Surface:

   • Wet the teak and the surrounding area before starting.
   • Ensure you wear rubber gloves and eye protection for safety.

2. Using Part A:

   • Pour Part A into a bucket. It can be diluted up to 4:1 or used full strength.
   • With the wood still wet, pour Part A onto the teak or apply it using a brush or scouring pad.
   • Lightly scrub in a circular motion against the grain.
   • Once the entire surface turns blackish, let it sit for 2-3 minutes.

3. Using Part B:

   • Use a separate bucket and brush/scouring pad for Part B.
   • Important: Part A is an acid and Part B is a base. They will neutralize each other upon contact, so this reaction needs to happen on the teak, not in your bucket or brush.
   • Apply Part B to the same teak treated with Part A. This ensures your teak is left looking a natural golden brown.
   • Once Part B is rubbed in, rinse everything off thoroughly. Your teak will look brand new!

Additional Tips:

• If you notice a lot of black residue from the caulk lines after applying Part A, hose off the teak before neutralizing it with Part B.
• Be cautious when using this product. The acid in Part A can damage paint, stainless steel, and other metals if left to dry. Always rinse down these surfaces with water.
